QPR defender Arthur Gnohere will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Queens Park Rangers defender Arthur Gnohere will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.Gnohere was hurt during a reserve team fixture against Brighton last week and underwent scans on the problem on Friday.
The tests proved the club's worst fears, with the 26-year-old informed he has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.
He will now undergo an extensive period of rehabilitation, with The R's expecting Gnohere to be sidelined for nine months.
With that length of absence predicted, the powerful stopper will face a battle to be fit in time for the start of the 2005/06 season.
To compound the Championship club's current woes, Matthew Rose could be out of action for up to six weeks.
Rose is due to undergo a scan on the hamstring injury he suffered against Leeds United on Saturday and The R's may be without the defender until the New Year.
