Sheffield United striker Jack Lester has completed his return to Nottingham Forest. The Championship rivals had concurred on a £50,000 fee to facilitate Lester's return to The City Ground.
Lester has penned a two-and-a-half year contract with Forest and will look to provide the goals to lift the club away from the relegation zone.
He spent three-and-a-half years in his first spell with Forest, scoring 24 goals, before he joined The Blades on a free transfer in the summer of 2003.
After a solid debut campaign at Bramall Lane, Lester slipped out of Neil Warnock's plans with the Blades boss spoilt for choice in attack.
Lester will be available for Forest's crunch game against fellow strugglers Gillingham on Saturday and his arrival ends manager Joe Kinnear's search for new firepower.
Kinnear recently failed with bids for the likes of Steve Howard, Les Ferdinand and Robbie Blake as he seeks to lift the club away from the bottom end of the table.
