Heerenveen have swooped to sign Fernando Derveld from Odense.
Heerenveen have swooped to sign Fernando Derveld from Odense, with the defender set to move to the Netherlands in the summer.The 28-year-old defender will spend the remaining six months of his contract in Denmark before moving to Heerenveen on a free transfer in July.
Derveld has signed a two-year contract with an option for a further two seasons.
The capture will come as a boost to Heerenveen who beat off competition from Twente for the Dutchman's signature.
