According to reports emanating in the French press, Paris Saint Germain are close to sealing a deal for Sergei Semak.The talented CSKA Moscow playmaker caught the attention of the capital outfit after his hat-trick put an end to PSG's involvement in this season's UEFA Champions League.
CSKA are thought to want in the region of ‚é¼2.5 million for Semak and after a week of negotiations, a deal looks likely to be struck in the not too distant future.
It is expected that Semak will ink a two-and-a-half year deal, having already undergone a round of talks with the club's hierarchy.
However, if the move fails to be swiftly concluded, Rennes are thought to be ready to meet CSKA's asking price and could make a late bid.
