Jon Dahl Tomasson says Milan are strong enough to win in Europe.
Jon Dahl Tomasson believes that Milan are strong enough to win the UEFA Champions League, ahead of a mouth-watering tie against Manchester United.Tomasson, who had an ill-fated spell at Newcastle, is currently recuperating from a minor injury but told BT that, with or without him, the Rossoneri are amongst the European elite.
"We can beat all the sides," said Tomasson. "We have the squad to beat anyone.
"The fans are expecting us to win it all. I certainly believe we have a great chance of winning the tournament.
"But it is not the name of the club that matters, but the form on match day."
Milan face Manchester United in the last 16 of the Champions League, in what is sure to be a hugely competitive match.
