Meghni given price tag

Bologna have slapped a ‚é¼10 million price tag on French starlet Mourad Meghni.

Bologna have slapped a ‚é¼10 million price tag on coveted French starlet Mourad Meghni.

The young schemer is being tracked by Serie A leaders Juventus along with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Juve are already rumoured to have enquired about Meghni, with the Gallic ace admitting he is flattered by talk of a switch to Turin.

Meghni, though, will not be leaving Bologna during January's transfer window, with club owner Giuseppe Gazzoni Frascara confirming the playmaker's value.

"Meghni is being followed by a lot of teams but, attention, Bologna have given him a valuation and we won't change it," affirmed Frascara in Corriere dello Sport.

"How much will Mourad cost? We are ready to negotiate only for a sum of about ‚é¼10 million.

"We won't start talking for less."

Meghni is in his second season at Stadio Renato Della 'Ara but Frascara expects the 20-year-old to be a star of the future.

He added: "Meghni is already strong now but he can become a big champion and so he must be considered as a big player."
