Makel Scotland-bound
Plymouth Argyle's Lee Makel has agreed to join Dunfermline Athletic next month.
Plymouth Argyle midfielder Lee Makel has agreed a deal to move back to Scotland with Dunfermline Athletic next month. The 31-year-old's decision to return north of the border comes after the former Hearts player had initially joined Bobby Williamson's side in the summer from Livingston.
Like Plymouth team-mate Stevie Crawford, Makel has decided to return to the Scottish Premier League in the January transfer window.
Both Makel and his wife have failed to settle in Devon and the club have agreed to terminate his contract in order to allow him to move to Dunfermline.
Makel has agreed an 18-month contract with The Pars and will be reunited with his former Livingston manager Davie Hay, who is now in charge at East End Park.
"We wish him all the best," Williamson told Plymouth's official website.
"It is disappointing things did not work out."
