Stuttgart win Trochowski chase

Stuttgart have landed Bayern Munich striker Piotr Trochowski.

The Germany Under-21 international will move during the January transfer window after agreeing a contract that will keep him at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion until 2007.

"We have yet to put pen-to-paper but both sides have agreed to the deal," Trochowski's agent revealed on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old forward, who joined Bayern from St. Pauli in 1999, is regarded as one of the Bundesliga's most talented youngsters and is believed to have cost Stuttgart in the region of ‚é¼1 million.

"I'm delighted that a decision has been made and I am really looking forward to joining Stuttgart," Trochowski commented.
