Adriano expresses Inter delight
Brazilian star Adriano has conveyed his happiness with Internazionale.
Brazilian star Adriano has articulated his delight with his current situation at Internazionale, and has outlined his ambitions for the year ahead.Adriano's blistering performances have naturally led to interest from a host of Europe's top clubs, with fellow Brazilian Ronaldo urging the star to join him at Real Madrid.
However, Adriano will have delighted Inter fans with his rejection of the continuing transfer speculation regarding his future.
The 22-year-old also vowed to continue his outstanding form displayed since the Copa America in the summer, and expressed a desire to secure a major trophy with the Milan side.
"Here is my second home" the striker told Inter Channel.
"I want to do much more for these colours. I still play football with happiness, this is the way I play the sport.
"Each time I'm back in Brazil there are new rumours linking me with a move away from Inter. I say it once again, I want to continue my career at Inter and I want to win with Inter.
"I won't forsake Nerazzurri's colours. I hope to continue playing well as I did in 2004.
"In 2005 I want to win an important trophy with Inter, the Italian League or Champions League. We will hope to join Juventus and Milan in the league, to fight for the Scudetto until the end."
Already 15 points off the pace, Inter will require all of Adriano's considerable skill and ability to sustain an unlikely challenge for the Serie A title this year.
