No Nantes return for Ziani

Stephane Ziani will not be returning to Nantes from his loan spell with Servette.

Ziani is spending the season on loan with Servette but the Swiss club have been plunged into liquidation.

That has sparked rumours that the 33-year-old will return to Nantes for the second half of the campaign.

However, club chairman Jean-Luc Gripond has acknowledged Ziani does not want to come back to Les Canaries, preferring to stay in Switzerland.

Nantes are also still being linked with a move for former player Christian Karembeu, who plays with Ziani at Servette.

Karembeu is tipped to leave Servette before the transfer window closes and he is weighing up several propositions.
