Hadjuk land Kranjcar

Hadjuk Split have signed Niko Kranjcar from arch-rivals Dinamo Zagreb.

The 21-year-old has been with Dinamo since making his debut at just 16, but he has fallen-out-of-favour and has now opted to join Hadjuk.

Clubs from Italy, Russia and England - Portsmouth - were keen, but Kranjcar has decided to stay in Croatia.

"The deal is done," said a delighted Hadjuk sporting director Igor Stimac.

"All the papers are signed and we can say with pride that Niko Kranjcar is our player now.

"He will be officially presented on Sunday."
