Adriano rejects new Real link

Adriano has dismissed fresh reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid.

The recent arrival of Arrigo Sacchi has led to renewed speculation that Real will launch a major offensive for the Brazilian striker next summer.

However, the player himself has poured cold water on the claims and insists he has no intention of quitting Inter.

"Me and my agent haven't talked, had contacts or foreseen meetings with other clubs," he told Inter's official website.

"I'm an Inter player, I'm happy to be at Inter and I'll continue to be Inter's." Adriano underlined on Nerazzurri's official website.

"If in February I do go to Spain, I'll do it only to take part in a game arranged by one of my friends, and not for any other reasons."

Real were reported to be lining up a ‚é¼60 million bid for the powerful hit-man, but he seems unlikely to leave Italy.
