Dunfermline are set to offer Danish striker Jesper Christiansen a new contract.
Dunfermline are set to offer Danish striker Jesper Christiansen a new contract at East End Park.The former Kidderminster ace is currently on a one-month deal at Dunfermline and he scored in their 1-1 draw with Dundee United last weekend.
Christiansen has impressed Pars boss Davie Hay and they are looking to offer him a longer deal.
"Jesper Christiansen has done well for us since he came to the club," said Hay.
"I was pleased that he netted his first goal for Dunfermline on Saturday.
"He has been playing well and we thought he had at least merited further discussions with regards to a new contract.
"Jim Leishman will be holding talks with Christiansen's representative this week."
