Rosell to end Barca feud
Barcelona vice president Sandro Rosell has tried to make peace with Joan Laporta.
Barcelona vice president Sandro Rosell believes the club's top brass need to bring an end to recent in-fighting in the interest of success on the pitch.Rosell has admitted to a feud with Barca present Joan Laporta, and it is claimed he will depart the Catalan club at the end of the season.
The split has been jumped on, especially by the Madrid-based media, who feel ill-feeling at the highest level could serve to destabilise Barca's surge towards the Primera title this term.
Indeed, it has even been suggested that Ronaldinho's future at Camp Nou could be called into question if Rosell departs, as he was the man who did much to persuade the Brazilian to sign for the club in the first place.
However, Rosell has now come out to try and bring an end to the dispute as he feels the club are only giving ammunition to their rivals.
"I think enough is enough, we are setting a bad example," he told Periodico de Catalunya.
"From my point of view, I will do everything possible to solve them (the problems).
"That is what Barca deserves, and much more."
Of Laporta, Rosell continued: "He is very pressured, and sometimes he takes decisions that I don't share.
"He does what he can, and I help him in everything he asks me to.
"I don't like to hear talk of Laportistas (Laporta supporters) and Sandristas (Rosell supporters). We are all, or should all be, Barcelonistas (Barcelona supporters)."
