Bastia have completed the signing of veteran playmaker Stephane Ziani.
Bastia have completed the signing of veteran playmaker Stephane Ziani until the end of the season.Ziani had been spending the campaign on loan at Servette from Nantes but the Swiss club's financial difficulties prompted his exit.
The 33-year-old opted not to return to Nantes and he has been able to negotiate the release from his deal with Les Canaris to join Bastia.
He will spend the remainder of the campaign with the Corsican side after spurning the chance to join Marseille or several unknown Italian teams.
The experienced schemer hopes to return to fitness in a week and could be joined at the club by Christian Karembeu.
