Tudor chooses next club
Igor Tudor has opted against moving to England in order to join Siena.
Igor Tudor has opted against joining one of several clubs in England in order to link up with Siena on loan.
The Juventus defender could still head for The Premiership in the summer as the interested parties are expected to monitor his displays in Serie A when he obtains the regular first team football he has been craving.
Newcastle United, West Brom, Middlesbrough, Fulham and Scottish giants Rangers all made enquiries for the Croatian but he has decided to remain in Italy.
"Newcastle, West Brom, Rangers and Middlesbrough all made specific enquiries for Igor," agent Craig Hutchinson told skysports.com.
"West Brom came up with a specific proposal. Newcastle and Fulham were following him and Middlesbrough wanted a loan move until the end of the season. Rangers also made enquiries and will continue to watch him.
"But this is the route he has chosen.
"He's still under contract to Juventus but the object of the exercise is to get him out there playing and we'll see what happens in the summer."
Hutchinson has been working with the player's representative, his brother Tomislav Tudor, and the deal with Siena is set to be finalised before the close of the transfer window.
