Palace chasing Coco
Crystal Palace are planning a move for Internazionale's Francesco Coco.
Skysports.com can reveal Crystal Palace are planning a move for Internazionale's Francesco Coco.Eagles boss Iain Dowie is keen to bolster his squad before the close of the transfer window and is looking to bring Coco to Selhurst Park.
The 27-year-old has struggled to feature for Roberto Mancini's side this season and could be keen on a move away for regular first team football.
A number of clubs are believed to be chasing the full back, but Palace are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to England.
Palace enjoy close links with Inter having signed Nicola Ventola and Gonzalo Sorondo from the Italian giants last summer and they hope Inter could be willing to loan him out.
The player's agent Claudio Vigorelli revealed Palace are interested in Coco and that he was preparing to hold talks with Inter to see if they would be willing to let him leave.
"It is true that Crystal Palace are interested in Francesco," Vigorelli told skysports.com.
"They are keen to sign him on loan.
"I am having a meeting with Internazionale to discuss the move and we will wait and see as they only have Giuseppe Favalli and Francesco who can play at left back."
