Season over for Cribari

Sanchez Emilson Cribari has been ruled out of action for the remainder of the season.

The Brazilian underwent surgery last Thursday after sustaining a knock during training the week prior.

It had been thought the injury was not long-term, but then it scans revealed knee ligament damage.

Cribari needs to rest in order to recover and is unlikely to attempt a playing return before the end of the Serie A campaign.

The Samba star had been a regular for the Stadio Friuli outfit before injury struck.
