Posse blow for Espanyol

Espanyol striker Martin Posse will be out of action for a month with a thigh injury.

Espanyol striker Martin Posse will be out of action for a month with a thigh injury.

The Argentine tore a muscle in his left leg during a training session and now faces a spell on the sidelines.

He will definitely miss this weekend's trip to face Real Madrid, and joins a growing Espanyol injury list for that game.

Skipper Raul Tamudo and defender David Garcia have already been ruled out of the clash at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Posse's loss is another blow for Espanyol boss Miguel Angel Lotina, although the forward has only made nine appearances for the Catalan outfit this term.
