Bradley: Keith will punish
Lincoln City chairman Rob Bradley says Keith Alexander will discipline players.
Lincoln City chairman Rob Bradley insists manager Keith Alexander is in charge of player discipline. The Sincil Bank chief made the comments after a training ground incident between two first team players last week.
The two players - thought to be Ciaran Toner and Marcus Richardson - were involved in a bust-up during training last Thursday.
The pair were left out of Alexander's squad during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Rochdale and have been suspended with pay until further notice.
Bradley stated the matter would be dealt with by Alexander in the near future.
"The final decision of where we go from here lies with the manager," Bradley said.
"These sort of things are part of the cut and thrust of football and fall-outs occur across the country - probably on a weekly basis.
"Both players have been suspended on full pay this week and the matter will now be dealt with in-house.
"The club now needs to go forward."
