Montella affirms Roma desire
Vincenzo Montella has reiterated his desire to stay with Roma.
Roma striker Vincenzo Montella has reiterated his desire to stay with the Giallorossi.The club's chief officer Rossella Sensi recently affirmed the club's intentions to keep star trio Francesco Totti, Antonio Cassano and Montella.
Now Montella has followed suit by saying he is happy at the club and keen to continue playing for the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
"I want to stay at Roma," explained Montella. "I believe in the club's plan and I have faith in the Sensi family."
The top scorer in Serie A still feels young at heart and has no desire to call time on his career in football just yet.
"I've had important years here," he added. "I think I've given the club a lot and received a lot back from this team.
"I feel young and I think I can continue playing for a long time. With Roma, I hope."
