Todd blast for Muirhead

Colin Todd has lambasted Ben Muirhead for turning down a new two-year deal.

Todd was confident the midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, would ink a new deal but has now been stunned by the player's decision.

The Bantams chief believes agents are at the core of the decision and that the player has been badly advised.

"I really don't know what these players want nowadays,'' Todd told the club's official website.

''He needs to cast his mind back to the end of last season when he was released by Bryan Robson and we gave him a second chance when he received no other offers.

"The new offer is on the table and if he doesn't want to sign, it is up to him but we will be demanding compensation from these other clubs, that's if there are any other clubs at all."
