Eto'o defends Aragones to Henry

Samuel Eto'o has revealed that he told Thierry Henry that Luis Aragones is not racist after the Frenchman was the subject of a racial slur by the Spain coach. The Cameroon international spoke with the Arsenal striker after the pair appeared in the tsunami fundraiser in Barcelona's Camp Nou in midweek.
Aragones caused huge controversy when he used a racist remark involving Henry when talking to Jose Antonio Reyes in a training session before a Spain game earlier this season.
But Eto'o is adamant that Aragones, who he affectionately calls grandfather, is not racist after the pair became great friends during their time together at Mallorca.
"I explained to him my reasons and he said he understood," Eto'o said. "I told him not to worry because the grandfather is not like that.
"I know him very well and all his ways and that his choice of words were not meant as a racial insult. I think he was only trying to motivate Reyes."
