League Two round-up

Yeovil Town are still on top of League Two after a 2-0 win at Chester City.

Arron Davies opened the scoring for The Glovers after 12 minutes and their lead was doubled before half time thanks to a penalty from the prolific Phil Jevons (32).

The home side finished the game with ten men after Darren Edmondson was dismissed late on.

Second placed Scunthorpe United kept up the pressure after 1-0 win over Leyton Orient at Glanford Park.

Andy Keogh grabbed the only goal of the game after 68 minutes and The Iron's cause was helped late on when Orient's Gary Alexander was dismissed.

Swansea lost pace with the top two after they were held to a goalless draw at Grimsby.

Macclesfield moved level with Swansea, after they won 3-0 at home to Rochdale with Matthew Tipton helping himself to a hat-trick.

Lincoln also kept up the pressure with a 2-1 success over bottom-of-the-table Cambridge.

Goals from Simon Yeo (17) and Gary Taylor-Fletcher (26) set up the win for The Red Imps, with Daniel Webb (52) grabbing Cambridge's goal.

Fifth place Southend are now five points clear of Northampton in sixth after a 2-1 win at The Sixfields Stadium.

Martin Smith (7) had put The Cobblers ahead early on, but Adam Barrett (72 & 90) pounced twice in the second half to give The Shrimpers victory.

Cheltenham slipped to defeat at home to Oxford with Tommy Mooney scoring in the final minute.

Bristol Rovers came from behind to grab a 1-1 draw at The Memorial Stadium against Boston.

Andy Kirk had fired Boston ahead on the hour, but the equally prolific Junior Agogo levelled 16 minutes from time.

Third from bottom Rushden & Diamonds moved five points clear of the relegation zone after a 1-1 draw at Notts County.

Billy Sharp (52) had put Rushden ahead but Julian Baudet (54 pen) levelled soon after.

Rushden moved further clear of second from bottom Kidderminster after they threw away a two-goal lead at Shrewsbury Town.

Chris Beardsley (13) and Blair Sturrock (27) had put The Harriers ahead, but goals from Darren Moss (33 & 40) and Kelvin Langmead made sure the home side were ahead at the interval.

Luke Rodgers made sure of victory with his strike just before the hour.
