Barcelona are breathing easier after it was confirmed that the injuries sustained by Ludovic Giuly and Juliano Belletti are not serious.Both players were forced off in Barca's 1-1 draw at Numancia on Saturday.
Belletti was carried off in the first half after falling awkwardly from a header on the rock-hard, icy surface.
Tests have revealed the Brazilian full back has badly bruised his lower back region, but while he is still a slight doubt for the Barcelona derby against Espanyol on Wednesday, he is not expected to be out of action for a significant period of time.
The news of French winger Giuly is similar as he too suffered a back injury.
The former Monaco man was replaced by Andres Iniesta on 50 minutes after taking a knock but is expected to be fit to participate in the club's next training session on Monday.
