Guppy leaves Wycombe

Steve Guppy has left Wycombe after being released by the League Two club.

The former England international returned to Wycombe in November after a short spell at Stoke.

Guppy is set to continue his career in America and the former Celtic and Leicester winger believes the move is too good to turn down.

"I have always been committed to the offer from USA and now the chance has come," Guppy told the club's official website.

"I just feel if I don't take it now it may never come again, especially at this stage in my career."
