Gattuso reveals United dream
Gennaro Gattuso has expressed a desire to play for Manchester United.
Milan's Italy international Gennaro Gattuso has expressed a desire to play for Premiership giants Manchester United in the not so distant future.The tough-tackling midfielder, who has experience of football in Britain having played for Rangers, has consistently found himself ensnared by the famous Red Devils outfit.
Gattuso is attracted by United's stature in the game and would choose playing for The Premiership champions ahead of opting for Roman Abramovich's millions at rivals Chelsea.
"My dream is to play for Manchester United in England," he said to the Mail on Sunday.
"I know it is a bit soon to talk about it because we have this big game coming up against United, but I have always been fascinated by them.
"I would love to have a new experience, even in the next year or two.
"I would choose Manchester United ahead of Chelsea because the stadium has a very special atmosphere and the club is world famous, like Milan."
Gattuso comes head to head with United when the Rossoneri tackle Sir Alex Ferguson's men in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League tie on Tuesday.
Milan take a slender advantage back to San Siro following Hernan Crespo's winner at Old Trafford.
