Brazil ace Denilson expects to be recalled to the national team now he has recovered from injury. The Real Betis star has seen his season wrecked by injury after undergoing knee surgery in the summer.
Denilson has only recently returned to action and he is confident Carlos Alberto Parreira will include him in his plans for Brazil once he is fit.
"They were eight months being injured but I am sure that Carlos Alberto Parreira knows me very well and once he sees that I am okay and that I am playing without having any problem he will count on me," said Denilson.
"I have come back nearly a month ago.
"In the first match the coach made me play only ten minutes and in the last match against Real Madrid I played 25 minutes."
The tricky winger also rejected reports claiming he wanted to return to Brazil to join Santos.
"I had to give a press conference in Spain because some information arrived here saying that I wanted to return to Brazil now that I had got recovered from an injury to my ankle but that wasn't true," added Denilson.
"I would like to end my career like Rai and Leonardo did. They did a good experience in Europe and then they ended their careers in the teams in which they had started it but that isn't my case at the moment.
"Betis is like a home for me at this moment and I am very thankful to them that they have cared so much about me while I was injured."
