Noe reveals Saints snub
Tottenham's Noe Pamarot snubbed a move to Southampton
Noe Pamarot has explained that he snubbed a move to Southampton after Tottenham tried to sell him this winter.Pamarot has fallen out of favour at White Hart Lane, but is desperate to battle back into the side.
The former Portsmouth man insists that only his desire to remain, and the backing of coach Martin Jol, prevented a move to The Saints.
"At one point Tottenham wanted to sell me to Southampton," Pamarot told But!
"Both clubs reached an agreement and my agent as well, but I wanted to stay!
"They did everything behind my back. The coach insisted that he wanted to keep me, but it was the director of sport Frank Arnesen that wanted to do some business.
"The news affected me a lot. I gave a lot to come here and I don't deserve to be treated in this manner.
"I am working hard to get back in the team and I do not regret leaving Nice.
"I needed three or four months to feel good and adapt to my new life in London.
"After Jacques Santini left I asked myself some questions. It reminded me of my Portsmouth years, when the coach was replaced and came with his own players."
Meanwhile, Pamarot's Spurs team-mate Mido has been recalled to the Egypt side after resolving his argument with the nation's FA.
Mido was axed by his nation after pulling out of a friendly game with an injury then featuring for Roma soon afterwards - but has since apologised for his actions.
"They have sent me the fax for the national game against Libya," confirmed Mido.
