Greek star Stelios Giannakopoulos insists he is content at Bolton and has no plans to move on from The Reebok Stadium. The winger has proved to be a major find for Trotters boss Sam Allardyce and has produced a string of impressive displays in the white shirt of Bolton.
Stelios will enter the final year of his contract next season and this would lead to the possibility of him moving on for nothing, but it would appear that the European Championship winner is ready to pledge his long-term future to Bolton.
"Why not?" he said in response to questions about the possibility of staying in the North West.
"I am very happy here and so are my family.
"I have settled in well, especially this year.
"We have one more season on the deal and we will hear what the management says and then decide."
Bolton face Arsenal in the quarter finals of the FA Cup at the weekend and Stelios says the club are going into the game on a high.
"The feeling in the camp is great," he said. "This is one more massive game for us and a great opportunity to get to the semi-finals.
"Arsenal are a very big club and will be trying their best as this is the only trophy left to them.
"But we have already beaten them in the league and we can beat them again.
"We are making progress and we all want to be part of it. We all want to play in Europe."
Stelios does not want Bolton's season to fizzle out in the final weeks of the season.
"I am impressed with the comeback we have made in 2005," he added. "We have shown massive character.
"We have made a good effort to get to sixth in the table and we don't want to throw it away. That would be a pity."
