Leeds and Gills charged

Leeds United and Gillingham have both been charged by the Football Association.

Leeds United and Gillingham have both been charged by The Football Association with failing to control their players.

The charges relate to a huge melee between both sets of players during Saturday's 1-1 draw at Elland Road, in which Leeds' Michael Gray and Gillingham's Darius Henderson were both sent off.

Gray reacted angrily to a tackle from Henderson, with the pair getting into a bust-up in front of the Leeds dug-out.

The melee saw players and officials from both sides get involved in the incident just around the hour mark.

After reviewing the evidence, The FA have decided that both clubs should be charged with 'failing to ensure that their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion'.

Both Leeds and Gillingham have until March 30 to respond to the charges.
