Pead off to Walsall

Walsall have bolstered their squad with the signing of Craig Pead from Coventry.

Pead is well down the pecking order at Highfield Road and has not featured for the first team at all this season.

The 23-year-old is out of contract in the summer and it seems likely he will leave the club.

Walsall have moved to snap up Pead on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal.

Pead is set to go straight into the squad for this weekend's clash with Oldham.
