Baros considers future

Milan Baros says he will consider his Liverpool future at the end of the season.

Milan Baros says he will consider his Liverpool future at the end of the season.

The Czech Republic striker is still The Reds' top scorer this season, but has endured a mixed season form-wise.

Baros has been linked with a number of moves away from Anfield with clubs in Italy eyeing a move for him, while Valencia have been recently mooted as an admirer.

Wednesday's UEFA Champions League opponents Juventus were also reportedly looking at Baros, but the 23-year-old is not making any decision on his future as yet.

Baros refused to deny interest from Valencia, saying: "No comment, wait four weeks," when asked about the Spanish side.

The former Banik Ostrava man did brush aside any talk of Juventus being interested, saying that he has had no contact with any club.

"I read it only in a newspaper, nobody has contacted me," Baros told Idnes.

"I don't even know if somebody has contacted my agent Pavel Paska.

"It´s irrelevant to think about this, I am concentrating on playing for Liverpool.

"There is still one month until the season's end and whatever happens in the summer I am calm at the moment."

Baros has played his part in Liverpool reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League, and he believes they can beat Chelsea to reach the final in Istanbul.

"It's hard to say, we are playing against Chelsea, we'll see then. But all teams that are in the semi-finals wish for the trophy. It's close.

"It won't be easy, but we have nothing to lose. We are already in the semi-final which is a kind of a success, because not many people had expected it.

"But we are self-confident. We play well in the Champions League, everything is still open."
