Rocchi to stay with Lazio

Lazio have thrashed out a deal with Empoli over striker Tommaso Rocchi.

Rocchi arrived in the capital city last summer on a joint-ownership deal, with the carrot being a permanent move if he impressed.

The centre forward has impressed greatly in the last month, with his efforts prompting Lazio to discuss terms with their counterparts from Empoli.

Empoli accepted the Biancocelesti's proposal last week, with general director Pino Vitale confirming an agreement had been reached.

"The clubs have found a definitive agreement and we are particularly satisfied for the negotiation because we obtained what we wanted," said Vitale who is expecting to swell the Tuscan club's coffers by some ‚é¼2.8 million in the summer.
