Denilson happy at Betis

Denilson is happy at Real Betis and is willing to see out his contract with the club.

Denilson has stated he is happy at Real Betis and is willing to see out his contract with the club.

Santos were linked with the skilful winger earlier this year, however the Brazilian ace distanced himself from the reports.

The 27-year-old is tied to the club until the summer of 2010 after penning a two-year extension back in 2003.

"I want to finish the season and then I'll speak to the club. I have five years on my deal remaining," he said.

"Lorenzo Serra Ferrer [the coach] is the key for me. I am happy in La Coruna."

Denilson has missed the last eight months of the season with injury, but is now closing in on a first-team return.

"Playing at the end of the season was my objective. I'm training and available to play the matches," he concluded.
