Burnley have signed versatile Graham Branch to a new contract.
Burnley have signed versatile Graham Branch to a new contract at Turf Moor.
The Clarets have rewarded their longest serving player, who would have been a free agent in the summer and a possible target for other clubs, with another year at the club.
Steve Cotterill revealed that the 32-year-old actually put pen-to-paper a short time ago but the Championship club only released the details on Friday.
"We're delighted Graham has signed a new 12-month contract," Cotterill told the club's official site.
"He is a good club man and obviously with the transfer window being introduced next season, he will be vital to us."
The Clarets have one of the smallest squads in the division.
