Langkamp set to join Wolves
Wolfsburg have reportedly agreed to sign Arminia Bielefeld's Matthias Langkamp.
VfL Wolfsburg have reportedly agreed to sign Arminia Bielefeld defender Matthias Langkamp for the coming season.According to the German media, the two clubs have agreed a fee of around é¼1.3 million for the 21-year-old which will increase according to the number of first team appearances Langkamp makes for The Wolves.
Neither side has officially confirmed the deal as yet, but it is believed that Langkamp has been handed a four-year deal at the VW Arena.
Meanwhile VfL sport director Thomas Strunz travelled to Vienna on Sunday to watch Rapid Vienna midfielder Steffen Hofmann.
The 24-year-old current Austrian Player of the Year is reportedly on the shopping list of several German clubs and Strunz is likely to face competition from Stuttgart, Nurnberg and 1860 Munich should he decide to table a concrete offer for the former Bayern Munich amateur.
