BVB bag Buckley

Borussia Dortmund have completed the capture of Delron Buckley.

Borussia Dortmund have completed the capture of South African striker Delron Buckley from Bundesliga rivals Arminia Bielefeld.

Despite being mired in debt, BVB have set their stall out to freshen their squad up for next term and have swooped to sign Buckley on a four-year deal.

The transfer is worth ‚é¼425,000 to Arminia, while Dortmund coach Bert van Marwijk believes he has added a quality attacker to his squad.

"With Delron Buckley, we get a left-footer in attack as well as a quick and deadly finisher who fits into my plans," said van Marwijk.

The club's managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke added: "We have signed one of the most prolific strikers in the Bundesliga under very favourable financial conditions."
