Edmilson returns to training

Barcelona's Edmilson has returned to training after seven months on the sidelines.

The summer signing from Lyon had his fledgling Barca career cut short when he damaged knee ligaments against Numancia in October, but could now make his comeback before the end of the current campaign.

The Brazilian star had previously targeted a return for the last two games of La Liga's season, although a concrete date has not been set.

Edmilson admitted that he is desperate to return to action as quickly as possible for Los Cules, and voiced his belief that the Catalans need just three more wins to secure the Spanish title.

"I want to return with interest, I desire to play any minutes of this season, it is my dream," said Edmilson.

"The team are on the way for the title but still we are not the champions.

"My numbers are clear, with three victories in five matches the Liga is for us."
