MSI ready for new Love bid

Corinthians are set to reopen talks with CSKA Moscow for Vagner Love.

The striker agreed terms with Corinthians' financial partner MSI earlier this season - but CSKA refused to budge and insisted on his return to Russia.

However, MSI chief Kia Joorabchian has now travelled to Europe to try and seal a deal which would be worth around $10 million.

Should Corinthians this time manage to reach agreement with CSKA, then Love will not move until his club's Uefa Cup involvement has ceased.

Meanwhile, MSI and Corinthians have finally sealed the signing of Gustavo Nery from Werder Bremen.

The 27-year-old has actually been on loan for the last four months with Corinthians, but they have now paid ‚é¼1.1 million to secure him on a permanent basis.
