Moore leaves Foals

Craig Moore has left Borussia Monchengladbach by mutual consent.

Only six months after joining from Glasgow Rangers, Australian international Craig Moore has terminated his contract with The Foals - despite having a year left to run.

Ex-Rangers boss Dick Advocaat (pictured) lured the 29-year-old to Germany, but after the Dutchman resigned last month, Moore informed the club that he was keen to leave too.

"We have had talks with him and finally granted his wish. Craig is going to leave us," director of sport Peter Pander told the club's official website.

With fellow-defenders Marcelo Pletsch and Nico Van Kerckhoven also leaving the Borussia-Park in the summer, the Foals are set to make finding enforcements for the back a top priority for the summer transfer period.
