Athletic Bilbao winger Joseba Etxeberria is set to miss the final three games of the Spanish season through injury.The Spain international looks to have torn a hamstring and now faces up to three or four weeks on the sidelines.
Etxeberria sustained the problem in his side's Copa del Rey semi-final defeat to Real Btis on Wednesday.
"Apparently he has a muscular problem in his right hamstring," Bilbao doctor Paco Angulo stated.
"We suspect he has torn the muscle and will probably have a period of around three to four weeks out."
Etxeberria will now sit out the forthcoming league games against Mallorca, Numancia and Espanyol.
