The £5.4 million arrival from Sao Paulo in 2002 is ready to call time on his spell in Die Bundesliga with a number of clubs on his trail.

Agent Wagner Ribeiro refused to reveal which teams are pursuing his client but there is no shortage of interest in the 29-year-old.

"The only thing that I can say is that I have received many offers for Franca from many European teams and even one from Brazil," said Ribeiro.

"But I can't say anything else."

Franca is keen to secure a transfer in the summer and bids will be expected in the coming weeks.
