Milan confirm Crespo intent

Adriano Galliani says Milan will pursue a permanent deal for Hernan Crespo.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the club will pursue a permanent deal for Hernan Crespo in the summer.

Chelsea's on-loan Argentine has again proven his class on his return to Italy after an ill-fated spell in West London - with the Milanese giants keen to prolong his stay at the Giuseppe Meazza.

Crespo has also been strong in his stance that he has no intention of returning to Stamford Bridge, with Galliani having now confirmed that the two clubs are looking to concur on a deal.

''It will depend on Chelsea,'' said Galliani. ''We know for him it will be a really appreciated gift.

''We will try to satisfy him in every way.''

It is expected that talks between both parties will commence after the UEFA Champions League final, when Milan face Liverpool in Istanbul.
