Bradford consider Bridges
Bradford are considering the prospect of signing Michael Bridges.
Bradford City boss Colin Todd admits that he is considering the prospect of signing Michael Bridges. The one-time England hopeful has endured a catalogue of injuries over the past couple of seasons and has recently been informed that he will not be having his contract renewed by Sunderland.
Black Cats boss Mick McCarthy has elected against offering the former Leeds striker fresh terms but he could now attempt to resurrect his career at Bradford.
Todd also admits that he is considering the merits offered by Michael Boulding, recently released by Barnsley, but it would appear that neither player tops the League One club's summer wish-list.
''They are names on the list but down the pecking order,'' Todd told Telegraph and Argus.
''There is nothing going on with them at the moment but it depends on what happens with others first.''
