Didier Drogba is not happy at Chelsea but will still be at the club next season, according to his agent's assistant. The Ivory Coast international played his part in Chelsea's title-winning season under Jose Mourinho, but has admitted he would have liked to score more goals.
He has also admitted that he did feel homesick, and one of his advisors has confirmed his unrest in West London.
Tcherno Seydi, assistant to Drogba's agent Pierre Frelot, told French radio station RTL that Drogba was not happy at Chelsea, but would not be leaving in the summer.
Seydi also said that Drogba would return to Marseille one day, but for now he would remain at Chelsea.
"Didier is not really happy at Chelsea," said Seydi.
"The presence of Mourinho is very good for him, but on the pitch, he doesn't have a lot of fun.
"We will try to find a solution. He will come back to Marseille one day, but at the moment he is at Chelsea, full stop.
"Anyway, do Chelsea want to sell him? Do l'OM want to break open the piggy bank?
"At Chelsea he is not in a small club. What he has lost in quality of life in London, he has gained on a sporting level."
Drogba's name has also been mentioned as part of a deal to bring Mickael Essien to Stamford Bridge from French champions Lyon.
The Blues would love to sign the powerful African, but Lyon are unwilling sellers, and Chelsea are trying to sweeten the deal by including a player exchange.
Mateja Kezman has already been dismissed by Lyon, but should Drogba be involved they may think again, as they are looking for a striker.
