Bolton to lose Blessing

Blessing Kaku looks to be the next player to join the summer exodus from Bolton Wanderers as Sam Allardyce admitted he is set to return to Israel

The Nigerian midfielder joined only last summer from Israeli side Ashdod, although he has made just one Premiership appearance as he has been unable to force his way into Allardyce's plans.

Kaku was one of seven players transfer listed in January, and is now expected to join the likes of Anthony Barness and Julio Cesar in leaving The Reebok Stadium.

Allardyce is looking to improve the quality of his squad in preparation for the club's first ever European campaign next year, and needs to free up spaces, and wages, if he is to bring in players of superior ability.

With two years remaining on his current deal Allardyce is looking for a club to take the Nigerian off his hands, with a move to Israel being most likely according to the Bolton boss.

"Blessing signed a three-year contract here last year but he has failed to break into the team here," Allardyce told the club's official website.

"Blessing is keen to play first team football on a regular basis and we won't stand in his way.

"There are many clubs interested in him and his future will be resolved in a matter of weeks.

"We signed him from Israeli football and it seems almost certain that he'll get fixed up with an Israeli club in the summer."
