Stockport County have taken Jermaine Easter on a free transfer from Boston United.
Stockport County have taken Jermaine Easter on a free transfer from Boston United.Easter had only been with The Pilgrims since March and had scored three goals in nine appearances.
But he has opted for a switch to Edgeley Park where he will be reunited with Stockport manager Chris Turner.
The 23-year-old was signed by Turner during their time together at Hartlepool United before they later went their separate ways.
Easter left Hartlepool for Cambridge last summer before joining Boston earlier in the spring.
He failed to settle at York Street and is now hoping to make an impact with Stockport, who will also be playing in League Two next season.
"I could have stayed at Boston," Easter told the club's official website. "But I didn't think it was the right place for me.
"I'm now hoping to make a name for myself at County."
Meanwhile, Rob Clare has completed his move back to Stockport from Blackpool after successfully undergoing a medical.
