Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the capture of Notts County's Stefan Oakes. The 26-year-old midfielder has agreed a two-year deal with The Chairboys.
"It's a major signing for us. I rate Stefan very highly and I'm delighted that he's agreed to join us," said Wanderers boss John Gorman.
"I've known him for years and noticed him when he was at Leicester City so it's great to have the opportunity to finally work with him.
"He's a goalscoring midfielder and he could add something very special to our team."
Gorman also played down speculation linking him with a move to Celtic as assistant to Gordon Strachan.
"I'm loving it here and I'm delighted to be manager of this team," he told Wycombe's website.
"I had the chance to go with Glenn Hoddle when he became manager of Wolves last year but I didn't do it because I wanted to stay here.
"I'm hearing all different sorts of things on the radio and in Scotland and it is nice to hear your name but I'm not going anywhere."
