Bielefeld bag Zuma

Arminia Bielefeld have signed South African international Sibusiso Zuma.

Arminia Bielefeld have signed South African international Sibusiso Zuma.

The 29-year-old has arrived at Bielefeld for an undisclosed fee from FC Copenhagen.

Zuma, who has signed a three-year deal at the Schuco-Arena, will help fill the void left by Delron Buckley's departure to Borussia Dortmund.

The pacey striker was delighted to finally move to a top European league after seeing previous moves to England fall through.

"I am ecstatic. It's just great." Zuma told BT.

"This is my big chance and I am very happy.

"I will give everything I have got in me to get success down here."

FCK director Niels-Christian Holmstrom paid tribute to Zuma for the service he had given the club.

"The clubs have agreed and Zuma has also got his terms in place. He joins Bielefeld," Holmstrom told BT.

"I am happy on his behalf. He might not join a top club, but he goes to a big league. We owe him that.

"Zuma has been the best footballer in the history of FCK."
